Review: Blur (GearShark #4) by Cambria Hebert

#Blur  - Cambria Hebert

I liked this although it ripped my heart out the first 30%. This book should really mention some important triggers!!

*rape
*hate crime
*abuse, physical and sexual

So be warned...

Needless to say my heart broke for Arrow (Dylan). These appalling events happen and then the story skips a few years later. Dylan does not exist any longer. His life is taken over by Arrow. His brother Jace has taken care of him, has helped him to his feet. But Arrow feels like damaged goods, worthless.

Arrow (thanks to Jan)

The other side of the story we have Hopper. Hopper has been living his life with so much guilt over losing his partner.

Two men, so broken, find their way to each other.

I just want to add some great quotes to this review cause you'll really have to read their journey yourself (if you can get past that horrendous 30% hurdle)

"Being a survivor made every moment, every kind word a little more meaningful, because they were the ones who knew what almost never was.

~~~~
"How in the hell could you have given me your heart?"
"Because you're the one who taught it to beat again."
~~~~

"You're my infinity, Hopp. I don't care where life takes me as long as you come too."
